Welcome! As a Department Lead, you oversee your department's teams, tasks, and performance.

What You Can Do

  • Manage Your Teams — Create teams within your department, assign team leads
  • Review Tasks — Approve or reject tasks submitted by team leads (department review workflow)
  • View Department Reports — See KPIs, analytics, and performance for your entire department
  • Approve Leave — Review leave requests from members in your department
  • Manage Team Members — Add or remove members from teams in your department
  • View Projects — Access projects assigned to your department

What You Cannot Do

  • Create projects (admin only)
  • Manage other departments
  • Access system-wide settings
  • Invite users to the platform (admin only)

Your Workflow

As a department lead, your typical workflow involves:

  1. Morning — Check the dashboard for pending task reviews and leave requests
  2. Review — Approve/reject tasks that have passed team lead review
  3. Monitor — Track department KPIs and project progress
  4. Manage — Handle team restructuring and member assignments as needed
