Assignments

Assignments are daily task allocations given to production workers. Department leads assign work from active work orders to individual workers.
Your Role on This Page

As an Admin, you can view and manage all assignments across teams. You have full visibility into all production assignments and can create or modify them as needed.
As a Department Lead, you can view department assignments. You can see all assignments in your department and monitor their progress.
As a Team Lead, you can create and manage assignments for your team. You can assign tasks from work orders to your team members and track their completion.
As a Member, you can view and complete your assignments. You can see tasks assigned to you today and mark them as complete.
How Assignments Work
- Go to Production > Assignments
- View today's assignments across departments
- Create new assignments from active work orders
Assignment Types
Assignments are organized by department:

Creating an Assignment
Department leads create assignments for their workers:
- Select the work order to pull tasks from
- Choose the worker to assign to
- Select the serial numbers to work on
- The task details are pre-populated from the product template
- Click Assign
Completing Assignments
Workers complete their assigned tasks:
- View assigned tasks for the day
- Complete each task and mark progress
- Serial numbers advance through production stages
- Budget tracking updates in real-time based on hours worked
- Admin View

- Team Lead View
- Member View




Serial Number Progression
As workers complete assignments, serial numbers move through stages:
Assembly → 1st Testing → 2nd Testing → Coating → Final Testing → QA → In Stock
Each completed stage automatically moves the serial to the next stage's queue.
Check assignments daily. Department leads should assign work each morning based on the current work order priorities and available workers.
