Standalone Tasks

Standalone tasks are tasks that are not linked to any project. They're useful for one-off work items, maintenance tasks, or anything that doesn't fit within a project.
When to Use Standalone Tasks
- Quick fixes or patches that aren't part of a project
- Administrative or maintenance work
- Research or investigation tasks
- Team-wide initiatives that span multiple projects
Creating a Standalone Task
- Go to Tasks in the sidebar
- Select the Standalone tab
- Click Create Task
- Fill in the details — the Project field is not required
- Click Create
How Standalone Tasks Differ

Status Management
Standalone tasks follow a simplified workflow. The assigned developer can update the status directly using the status switcher on the task card.
tip
Standalone tasks are visible in the Standalone tab of the Tasks page. They won't appear when you filter by a specific project.
